Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse Lead for the Neuro Med Surg unit on the Day Shift in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on assessment, coordination and evaluation of safe, patient-centered care while mentoring colleagues to advance knowledge and skills.

The CN Lead will facilitate staffing, admissions, transfers and discharges, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and model professionalism and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
• Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Mentor and develop unit staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in PCI trainings and unit SWARM activities.
• Lead nurse shift handoffs and patient flow.
