Job summary

BARBERTON in is seeking an experienced Nursing Services Supervisor to oversee day-to-day nursing activities in our long-term care facility. You will ensure care quality and compliance during your shift, coordinating with DON/ADON as needed.

The role emphasizes policy development, staff leadership, QA participation, and coordination of discharge planning, with focus on maintaining resident safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current state registration.
• Proven leadership in nursing services within long-term care.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Ability to develop and implement nursing policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Assist in directing day-to-day functions of the nursing services.
• Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures for the nursing department.
• Ensure manuals and reference materials are current and compliant.
• Report to the Director of Nursing and participate in QA and surveys.
• Plan staffing, assign tasks, and ensure proper supervision of RNs and CNAs.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination with other resident services.
• Attend committee meetings and prepare reports on nursing programs.
