Job summary

Four Peaks Medical Center, part of HonorHealth, seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to advance educational practices and clinical competence across ICU, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Geriatric Psychiatry units in Mesa, AZ.

The Educator will lead evidence-based training, collaborate with leadership, and drive quality improvement initiatives aligned with HonorHealth standards and nursing professional development scope.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; MSN is strongly preferred.
• Enrolled in an MSN or M Ed program within 30 days of hire and completed within 24 months of hire.
• Certification in ANCC approved nursing specialty or nursing professional development; if not on hire, certification must be achieved within 12 months.
• Experience in Critical Care, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry is required.
• Education experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and nursing education as an educator, leader, consultant, facilitator, change agent and researcher.
• Support quality patient care by ensuring clinical competence and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Collaborate with leadership and staff on patient care, staff performance, standards, and education programs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate education and training programs; maintain education records.
• Lead new hire orientation, clinical academies, residency, mentor, and preceptor programs.
