Job summary

HonorHealth Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead education for the heart program across OR/ICU/PCCU. Requires BSN and certification, with MSN/MEd in progress. The Educator partners with leadership to drive quality improvement, teach orientee and preceptor programs, and advance professional development in a high-acuity cardiac care setting.

Qualifications

• BSN required; enrolled in MSN or MEd within 30 days of hire and completed within 24 months.
• ANCC approved nursing specialty or nursing professional development certification, if not on hire.
• 3 years direct patient care RN experience in relevant areas.
• CCU/CVICU experience and knowledge of cardiac procedures are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education, leadership, and consultation to nursing staff.
• Develop and evaluate education programs; support quality and safety initiatives.
• Lead new hire orientation, clinical academies, residency, and preceptor programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement evidence-based practice and competency assessments.
