Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN strongly preferred.
• Enrolled in MSN or MEd program within 30 days of hire.
• ANCC-approved nursing specialty or nursing professional development cert due within 12 months.
• RN license required; state licensure upon hire.
• 3+ years direct patient care RN experience; ICU/Med-Surg/Telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing education as educator, leader, consultant and researcher.
• Develop, implement and evaluate education and competency programs.
• Collaborate with leadership to set standards and address staff performance.
• Lead orientation, clinical academies, residency, mentor and preceptor programs.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Apply adult learning principles and educational technologies.
