Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Enrolled in MSN or M Ed Program within 30 days of hire and completed within 24 months of hire.
• Certification in ANCC approved nursing specialty or nursing professional development to be achieved within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Nurse Educator provides clinical and nursing professional expertise as an educator, leader, consultant, facilitator, change agent and researcher to support quality patient care.
• Educator ensures clinical competence of nursing staff and fosters evidence-based nursing practice.
• Leads educational activities, program development, orientation, residency, and preceptor programs.
