Job summary

Four Peaks Medical Center, part of HonorHealth, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to support the heart program and prepare nurses for open-heart care across OR, ICU, and PCCU. The educator will lead evidence-based training, clinical education, and staff development to maintain high-quality patient care.

Requirements include a BSN, enrollment in an MSN or MEd program within 30 days of hire, and ANCC or NPD certification within 12 months if not on hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Enrolled in MSN or MEd within 30 days of hire; completed within 24 months.
• ANCC-approved nursing specialty or nursing professional development certification required within 12 months if not on hire.
• CVICU critical care experience required.
• Post-ICU/post-critical care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and nursing education to support quality patient care.
• Lead and mentor staff through coaching and role modeling.
• Assess educational needs using data and metrics; develop training programs.
• Teach new hire orientation, clinical academies, residency, and preceptor programs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based educational practices and measure outcomes.
