Job summary

Townsen Memorial Hospital in Humble, TX is seeking a Full Time Clinical Nurse Educator to coordinate and deliver education for onboarding, training, and competency development. The nurse educator will serve as a liaison among students, schools, and clinical leaders to ensure regulatory alignment and high-quality patient care.

The role requires an RN license in Texas and at least one year of perioperative or inpatient experience, plus one year in clinical education or student coordination.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas required.
• Minimum 1 year perioperative or inpatient experience.
• Minimum 1 year in clinical education, staff development, orientation, or student coordination.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding education, annual training, and competency validation for staff.
• Coordinate life support courses (BLS, PALS, ACLS) and maintain records.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs.
• Coordinate student placements and verify documentation.
• Maintain confidential records for employees and students.
• Loster liaison between students, schools, and clinical leaders.
