Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead and deliver competent clinical nursing care for a defined patient population in a hospital setting. You will report to the unit Manager/Director and organize care using the nursing process as a peer leader.

The role requires NC RN licensure (or compact state), BLS, ACLS if required, and at least one year of acute care experience. Night shift, on-site, 36 hours per week with opportunities for development and safety initiatives.

Formación

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina or one of compact states by the day of clinical care.
• One year of experience as an RN in an acute care/inpatient hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Administers patient care under physician direction and collaborates with the care team to achieve expected patient outcomes.
• Leads unit operations, schedules staff, and manages timekeeping records.
• Participates in talent acquisition, development, evaluation and counseling as needed.
• Updates plan of care with the care team and anticipates discharge needs in coordination with case management.
• Precepts entry-level staff and coordinates staff competency documentation.
• Documents unit processes, edits policies, and supports EMR usage and recordkeeping accuracy.
• Promotes safety culture, reports safety events, and participates in quality and safety initiatives.
• Ensures competency and adherence to policies and procedures.
