Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care in a hospital setting, using the nursing process. You will report to the Nurse Manager/Director and work with the interdisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering patient care under physician direction, documenting care plans and patient responses, collaborating with peers, and ensuring safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a compact state by the day of clinical care.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under the direction of a physician and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Records and reports the plan for care and the patient's response to care.
• Delivers competent nursing care in line with policies and procedures.
• Prioritizes and coordinates care, consults with resources for complex cases and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with peers to support clinical operations and effective communication.
• Assesses data to determine priorities for care and anticipates discharge needs.
• Communicates with patients and families to update the plan of care with cultural sensitivity.
• Promotes clinical and operational excellence through ongoing education and training.
• Ensures a safe, clean hospital environment and adherence to infection control standards.
