Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the PCU to deliver high-quality patient-centered care and coordinate all unit functions. The CNC partners with management to monitor nursing care, serve as a resource for staff, and support an exceptional patient experience.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, assist with admissions/discharges, mentor staff, and help optimize outcomes while coordinating scheduling and daily operations.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Job Summary And QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.
What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
• No Travel Required
