The CNC acts as a clinical resource and leader, coordinating patient care delivery, mentoring staff, promoting safety, ensuring outcomes, and driving performance improvements within a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia or an active Compact State license.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to support efficient throughput.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care activities during assigned shifts.
• Support daily operations, patient flow, staffing, and resource management.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff.
• Promote adherence to evidence-based practice standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, case management, therapy services, and other team members to optimize outcomes.
• Assist with employee engagement, onboarding, education, and competency development.
• Monitor patient care quality indicators and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient safety.
• Respond to patient, family, and staff concerns professionally.
