Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to oversee patient-centered care and unit coordination across shifts. The CNC will direct nursing services, collaborate with the management team, and model the organization’s values to ensure superior patient outcomes.

The CNC will support admissions/discharges, staff development, scheduling, and inventory control while maintaining a high quality standard across the unit.

Formación

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and high-quality patient care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality with the management team.
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes and service.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement (e.g., rounds, hourly rounds).
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, staff training, and policy compliance, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling to align labor with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and supplies/equipment management.
