You will direct nursing staff, model organizational values, and support excellence in outcomes. Collaboration with management and subject matter experts is essential to improve care, workflow, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• Relief Charge/Charge/Nursing leadership experience desirable.
• 1 year of acute care behavioral health hospital experience with psych hold is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in the unit with management.
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and staff rounding initiatives.
• Provide input on interviewing, hiring, training, and performance actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor planning.
• Help manage supplies and equipment inventory.
