The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will facilitate unit operations, serve as a resource to staff, and ensure quality patient care. Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
• Two (2) years experience as a Staff Nurse.
• Specialty Board Certification within 2 years of promotion.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate functioning of the unit as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
• Act as a resource for nursing and medical staff.
• Coordinate admissions and transfers for timely placement.
• Ensure adequate coverage for the unit and make assignments.
• Participate in staff evaluations and provide feedback.
