Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead the unit on assigned shifts under the director’s supervision, coordinating care and improving patient outcomes.

You will assess patients, document changes, collaborate with the care team to plan and modify the care plan, delegate tasks safely, and educate patients and families while upholding safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care, as indicated by the patient's responses and conditions.
• Delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and safe but retain accountability for patient care.
• Provide individualized education for the patient, family, and or caregiver throughout the continuum of care.
• Adhere to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care.

Education

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the unit's director, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit.
