Job summary

Healthier Mississippi People seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care in an assigned clinical area. You will coordinate patient scheduling, records, and admissions, and counsel patients and families on treatments and conditions.

As a liaison among case managers, home health nurses, and utilization review, you will ensure safe, effective, timely, and equitable care while mentoring new staff and supporting continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Experience in a clinical nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care with assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating treatments.
• Documents care in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Coordinates delivery of care within the practice and across settings.
• Referral of patients to needed services as ordered by the provider.
• Fosters collaboration to improve quality and patient outcomes.
• Mentors new staff and participates in orientation and education.
