Healthier Mississippi People seeks an experienced RN to assess, develop, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients in an assigned clinical area. The role coordinates operations including scheduling, records maintenance and admissions management, and serves as a liaison with case managers, home health nurses, utilization review, and related teams to ensure seamless patient services.

You will counsel patients and families on treatment and conditions, coordinate services, and perform duties

Qualifications

• Valid RN license required.
• Knowledge of nursing care procedures and protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Familiarity with computer systems and medical records.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient treatments.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and medications.
• Ensure safety of patients.
• Coordinate referrals and admissions to services.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Precept others per UMMC guidelines.
• Report patient concerns to supervisor as appropriate.
• Participate in nursing councils, hospital committees or projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
