This position provides direct patient care in a 32-bed Oncology unit, focusing on patients with complex needs such as leukemia, stem cell transplants, and immunosuppression. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Promoting patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engaging in professional development.
• Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensure: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
