Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing across multiple specialties using manual or automated techniques.
• Evaluate and report results with independent judgment and accuracy.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair instruments; identify malfunctions and correct.
• Document quality control and QA for process improvement.
• Collect and label specimens from newborn to adult patients following protocol.
• Train and supervise staff, students, and residents in lab procedures.
• Support timely results for critical care departments during high acuity events.
• Ensure compliance with CAP and accrediting standards.
