Job summary

Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. (CEENTA) is hiring a Clinical Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting in the Carolinas. You will greet and room patients, document histories, assist with exams, administer medications, and manage lab specimens.

The role includes patient education, scheduling, prescription requests, EMR documentation, and collaboration with the clinical team across CEENTA locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in primary care or ENT preferred.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assisting program (CAAHEP, ABHES, or AMT-approved) Preferred.
• CMA, RMA, or LPN certification, Preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; document history including vital signs, medical histories, and allergies.
• Assist Providers with exams, treatments, and in-office procedures.
• Administer medications and collect lab specimens.
• Provide patient education and serve as a scribe when needed.
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries.
• Respond to patient messages and prescription requests.
• Accurately document patient information in EMR/EHR.
• Clean and restock exam rooms; sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards.
• Maintain clinic supply inventory and place orders when needed.
• Support onboarding and training of new staff and apprentices.
• Collaborate with Providers and clinical team members to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Travel to other CEENTA locations as needed.
