Job summary

Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. (CEENTA) seeks a Clinical Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare setting. You will greet patients, document histories, assist with exams, and help with procedures while maintaining EMR accuracy and OSHA safety standards.

The role offers hands-on patient care, training opportunities, and career growth, with occasional travel to other CEENTA locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience in primary care or ENT preferred.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
• CMA, RMA, or LPN certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; document history including vital signs, medical histories, and allergies
• Assist Providers with exams, treatments, and in-office procedures
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and surgeries
• Administer medications and collect lab specimens
• Provide patient education and serve as a scribe when needed
• Respond to patient messages and prescription requests
• Accurately document patient information in EMR/EHR
• Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant safety standards
• Maintain clinic supply inventory and place orders when needed
• Support the onboarding and training of new staff and apprentices
• Collaborate with Providers and clinical team members to ensure efficient patient flow
• Travel to other CEENTA locations as needed
