Job summary

The role may involve back office testing, assisting providers with exams, and potentially floating between locations as needed in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Certification within 120 days of hire is required if criteria are met; multiple cert options accepted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients; obtain vitals and document history and screenings.
• Review and update medication list in the EHR and social history.
• Assist with lab controls, back office testing, and patient follow-up schedules.
• Possibly float between physician office locations.
