Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a clinic setting under provider supervision. You will assist with exams, collect vitals, manage documentation, and coordinate scheduling and tests.

Responsibilities include EKGs, venipuncture, immunizations, room preparation, infection control, and patient education, all while maintaining EMR records and working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients throughout visits and accompany to exam rooms.
• Schedule appointments, process lab calls, prior authorizations, and charting.
• Collect and record vital signs and medical history.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, immunizations under physician direction.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms, maintain infection control, stock supplies.
• Provide patient education under physician supervision.
