Trinity Health in Waukee, IA seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patient care in a collaborative clinic setting. You will assist with examinations, prepare charts, document results, and coordinate tests and referrals.

Under providers' direction you will administer medications, maintain aseptic technique, and educate patients and families about plans of care. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to uphold Trinity Health standards.

Formación

• Must complete a medical assistant program accredited by CAAHP or ABHES.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Fluent reading/writing English and effective communication with patients.
• Experience in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Proficiency with Windows, web navigation, email, and MS Office.
• Evidence-based practice and patient advocacy aligned with Trinity Health values.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver patient care through preparation, vital signs, and documentation.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations under providers' direction.
• Prepare and organize patient charts; document tests and exam results.
• Coordinate schedules for tests, labs, x-rays, and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on discharge plans and follow-up care.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies; support training of new colleagues.
