Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: 7-11 months equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and laboratory specimens as required for evaluation.
• Assist in documentation of notes, orders and prescriptions in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Prepare and maintain clinic areas, stock examination rooms, and ensure instruments are properly maintained.
• Return routine patient calls for prescription refills or pre-certifications as directed.
• Coordinate ancillary services such as imaging, procedures, and additional patient visits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional demeanor in all interactions.
