Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Medical Assistant is preferred but not required; 7–11 months recommended.

Responsibilities

• Obtain intake information for patient population and document in EMR.
• Perform tasks and treatments as delegated by licensed personnel.
• Provide limited patient education related to tests and procedures.
• Schedule tests and procedures ordered by physicians.
• Maintain clinic area: prepare rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is functioning.
• Assist provider with notes, orders and prescriptions in the EMR.
