Job summary

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, laboratory specimens and other information for patient evaluation.
• Assist in documenting notes, orders, and prescriptions in the EMR for provider review.
• Prepare and maintain the clinic area including exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Return routine patient calls for refills or pre-certification with proper documentation.
• Coordinate ancillary services such as diagnostic testing, imaging, and hospital procedures.
• Maintain professional demeanor with patients, staff and management.
• Follow safety, confidentiality and legal requirements in patient care.
