Job summary

You will support providers by documenting notes and orders in the Electronic Medical Record, prepare exam rooms, and coordinate ancillary services while maintaining patient confidentiality and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 7–11 months of related experience.
• Ability to perform both clinical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, laboratory specimens and related information.
• Assist provider by documenting notes, orders and prescriptions in the EMR.
• Prepare and maintain clinic areas, exam rooms and equipment.
• Return routine patient calls regarding prescriptions and refills with proper documentation.
• Coordinate ancillary services such as tests, imaging, and hospital admissions.
