Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage in population-appropriate communication; involve family in care.
• Assist in direct patient care as part of the clinical team.
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, labs per competencies with universal precautions.
• Document notes and orders in the EMR; pend for provider review.
• Prepare and maintain the clinic area, rooms, and equipment.
• Handle routine patient calls and prescriptions per EMR directives.
• Coordinate ancillary services and transfer of medical records.
• Maintain professional demeanor and protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow safety, legal requirements, and quality measures.
