Job summary

Hughston Clinic is seeking a Clinical Athletic Trainer, LPN or Medical Assistant for a float position in Nashville. The role supports multiple clinics Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a sign-on bonus between $500 and $1,000. Prior MA experience and HIPAA knowledge are essential.

The position emphasizes patient care, EMR data entry, and coordination of tests, treatments, and referrals, with responsibilities across clinical and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• 1 year as Medical Assistant or related clinical support role.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy.
• BLS certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Float across departments and sites to support clinics.
• Enter patient history and vitals accurately.
• Document in EMR as directed by provider.
• Assist with minor procedures, splints, and DME devices.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Coordinate scheduling, insurance forms, and referrals.
