Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical and non-clinical patient services on-site. You will take vital signs, document patient information, schedule appointments, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of MA experience, Basic Life Support and CMA credentials preferred, and strong interpersonal and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, or an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• 1–2 years Direct MA experience or medical field work required.
• BLS Certification and CMA certification preferred or required.
• Ability to take vital signs and measure blood pressure; collect specimens as needed.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and medical office software; ability to document accurately.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily patient flow and on-boarding of new Medical Assistants.
• Show patients to exam rooms and prepare equipment for providers.
• Interview patients, obtain medical information, measure vital signs, and record data.
• Explain treatments, medications, and instructions; provide educational materials.
• Perform general office duties and coordinate with departments to support patients and insurance forms.
• Collect laboratory specimens and prepare for testing.
• Participate in privacy compliance and patient confidentiality initiatives.
