Job Summary

Under general supervision of a licensed practitioner and/or department leader, the Clinical Medical Assistant I independently provides and documents clinical care and related tasks according to standardized protocols. The role involves using age-appropriate and developmental approaches, supporting physicians, nurses, and families in patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care, and performing administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
• BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
• Medical Assistant Program/Certificate (new grads welcome)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year of experience
• Certified Medical Assistant
• Experience with data entry and clinical computer systems
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
• Pediatric experience in inpatient, outpatient, or long-term care settings

The current salary range for this position is $23.10 to $31.77.
