Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our patient care team in Omaha. You will perform DOT and non-DOT testing, prepare patients for examinations, conduct rapid screenings, and assist clinicians during procedures with strong attention to documentation.

We value experience in occupational medicine, HIPAA compliance, and excellent customer service. Training is provided to support clinical competency and growth within a collaborative center environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assistant program or related experience with relevant state credentials.
• Direct patient care experience or military medical experience acceptable if credentialed.
• Knowledge of clinical procedures and medical terminology required.
• Experience with occupational health requirements preferred, state-specific.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for exams, take vitals, and arrange ancillary testing.
• Conduct rapid screening tests (influenza, strep, glucose, etc.).
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Prepare and assist with procedures; manage triage as needed.
• Document accurately and perform front/back office duties.
