Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment by gathering detailed histories and vital signs.
• Set up exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and maintain supplies, ensuring proper sterilization.
• Administer injections and assist with laboratory testing and phlebotomy.
• Support physicians in minor surgeries and physical examinations.
• Handle phone calls to the practice and coordinate patient referrals.

Qualifications :

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program OR 12 months of direct clinical patient care experience OR current Medical Assistant certification.
• Candidates with one year of medical work experience must obtain Medical Assistant Certification within one year of hire.
• New graduates of Medical Assisting programs are expected to secure clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.

Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification / ABR-OE credentials are preferred.
