Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an innovative Clinical Operations Manager to partner with the Director of Respiratory Care and lead a team of skilled respiratory therapists in a busy, acute care setting.

You will drive quality initiatives, oversee budgeting and policy alignment, develop staff, and collaborate with physicians and hospital committees to advance clinical practice and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC certification; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certified; and current Georgia licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the respiratory leadership team to drive operational and clinical growth
• Lead departmental quality improvement projects
• Oversee CLIA and CAP compliance for the blood gas laboratory, ensuring regulatory readiness
• Coach, mentor, and develop respiratory therapists while fostering a culture of accountability
• Represent respiratory care on hospital committees and interdisciplinary workgroups
• Assist with departmental budgeting, productivity, and new equipment evaluation
• Review and create hospital policies in accordance with accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC certification; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certified; and current Georgia licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Current state respiratory care license
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Leadership experience in an acute care hospital
• Experience with CLIA and CAP accreditation
• NICU or critical care leadership experience preferred
