Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Nurse Residency Unit. You will oversee administrative and operational duties, drive quality of care, workforce planning, and engagement of staff in patient-centered services.

The role requires completing leadership development, ensuring nursing credentials (RN Georgia), and guiding succession planning while supporting adolescent to geriatric patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing; RN licensure in Georgia required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience.
• BCLS certification required.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and operational responsibility for assigned departments, including cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care and clinical outcomes.
• Serves on the entity management team and Shared Governance focused on mission, vision and values.
• Succession planning and growth of future nursing leaders through coaching and resources.
• May assist in staffing to provide clinical care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
