Job summary

Heart’n Soul Hospice in Seattle seeks a Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse to advance hospice services within the healthcare community. You will perform comprehensive nursing assessments for hospice admission and collaborate with clinicians on pain management and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Two years of experience as an RN, preferred in hospice or healthcare/clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Hospice presence in the healthcare community with hospitals and health care providers.
• Performs comprehensive nursing assessment and evaluation for appropriateness of hospice admission.
• Develop, educate and consult with medical professionals concerning hospice programs, pain management and Medicare/Medicaid/commercial reimbursements.
• Establish public relations programs for interpretation of the agency's services and to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
• Responsible for new business development and assisting Community Education Representatives with new account development when needed.
• Performance of other duties as required
• Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
