Job summary

Houston Medical Center - AMG Specialty Hospital is seeking a Clinical Liaison (RN/RT/LPN) to bridge patients to AMG's specialized hospital-level care. The role blends clinical insight with relationship-building and requires daily travel across Houston-area hospitals.

You will educate physicians and care teams, develop referral partnerships, and advocate for appropriate admissions within your assigned territory to grow referrals and census.

Qualifications

• Active clinical licensure as RN, RT, or LPN.
• Hands-on clinical experience is required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel daily within the territory.
• Ability to evaluate medically complex patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate referred patients for clinical appropriateness.
• Educate physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals about AMG's services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners.
• Identify patients who may benefit from long-term acute care hospital services.
• Support timely communication and a smooth referral and admission process.
• Help increase appropriate referrals, admissions, and hospital census.
• Manage and grow an assigned territory.
