Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a field-based Marketing and Referral Director for McAllen, TX. You will identify and cultivate referral sources for our LTAC hospital network, manage admissions referrals, and design marketing strategies to grow our territory.

This role requires extensive travel and in-person education with decision-makers. You will build strong relationships, present our specialty hospitals, and coordinate clinical and payer information to support patient admissions while upholding

Qualifications

• 2+ years of healthcare sales experience or clinical healthcare experience.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers related to LTACH benefits is required.
• Strong ability to develop strategic marketing plans and initiatives.
• Driver License is required; state licensure may be preferred for RN/LPN or RESP THER.
• Ability to travel daily and work in field across a territory.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads using personal and business contacts and educational presentations.
• Meet monthly goals for assigned hospitals and expand referral sources.
• Manage referrals and admissions for referred patients while representing ScionHealth.
• Educate patients and families on benefits of ScionHealth Hospitals and services.
• Coordinate transmission of clinical and benefit information between patients and decision-makers.
