Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ seeks a Clinical Liaison to support inpatient acute rehab admissions. You will build referral relationships, coordinate pre-admission screenings, and apply on-site clinical judgment to assess admission suitability, while communicating options to patients and families.

Formación

• Clinical licensure required per state regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in health-related, business or marketing preferred.
• 2-year degree is the minimum education requirement.
• Experience in clinical liaison, marketing or healthcare sales preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Builds and maintains referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit
• Assist and coordinate the intake and pre-admission screening process
• Perform on-site clinical judgment to determine admission appropriateness
• Communicates rehab and facility options to patients and families; assesses expectations and requirements
• Secures information relating to patients' resources and benefits
• Acts as initial contact for external case management and discharge planning with payors and hospital facilities

How you'll contribute

AClinical Liaisonwho excels in this role:

• Builds and maintains referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit
• Assist and coordinate the intake and pre-admission screening process
• Perform on-site (typically in a referring facility) clinical judgment to determine the appropriateness of the patient for admission
• Communicates rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families. Communicates with patients, determines admission appropriateness, and assesses the patient's expectations and requirements for participation.
• Secures information relating to patients' resources and benefits
• Functions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities

What we're looking for

Applicants should have Clinical Licensure and a bachelor's degree.

Additional requirements include:

• Education: Minimum 2-year degree required. Bachelor's degree in a health-related, business, or marketing field preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in clinical liaison, marketing, or healthcare sales preferred.
• License: Current license to practice as required by applicable state licensure regulations.
