Job summary

Regency Hospital Northwest Indiana in East Chicago is seeking a Clinical Liaison (RN/RT preferred). You will advocate for referred patients, coordinate care plans with physicians and families, and facilitate transfers from ICU or post-surgical stays.

Competitive salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 with uncapped monthly bonuses, extensive onboarding, and a strong benefits program for full-time staff working M–F 8:00–5:00.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) License.
• Will consider other designations like LPN, PT, OT, etc., upon further review.
• Ability to complete clinical assessments of medically complex patients.

Responsibilities

• Work with physicians, discharge planners, and patients' families to plan the best continuum of care after an ICU or post-surgical stay by utilizing your strong clinical background, payer knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
• Perform clinical assessments of referred patients, then counsel with patients' families to assist them in making the best care decisions for their loved one.
• Partner with hospital case managers and physicians to create a smooth pre-admission and transfer process through removing payer-related and operational barriers for patients getting into our highly effective level of care.

Overview

Clinical Liaison ( RN / RRT )

Regency Hopsital - Northwest Indiana (East Chicago)

Critical Illness Recovery Hospital (LTACH)

Clinical License: Registered Nurse (RN) and Respiratory Therapist (RT) preferred; Will consider other designations like LPN, PT, OT, SLP upon further review.

Annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, depending on relevant work experience. Plus, uncapped monthly bonuses.

A day in the life

You'll advocate for referred patients in the pre-admission process by collaborating with clinical teams to assess patient needs. You will serve as a resource for healthcare professionals through fostering relationships within medical facilities. With clinical expertise and problem-solving skills, you'll also coordinate care plans with physicians and families. Additionally, you will facilitate patient transfers and address barriers to accessing specialized post-ICU care.

• Full-time: Monday-Friday 8-5 PM
