Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas, Texas seeks a Clinical Liaison who combines clinical expertise with relationship building to help patients access rehabilitation services. You will manage referrals, coordinate intake and pre-admission screening, and perform on-site assessments to determine admission suitability.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinicians who enjoy patient care and relationship building.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare marketing or sales is a plus.
• Experience with patient assessment is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

How you'll contribute

As a Clinical Liaison, you will:

Build and maintain referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the hospital.

Coordinate the intake and pre-admission screening process.

Perform on-site clinical assessments (typically at referring facilities) to determine a patient's appropriateness for admission.

Educate patients and their families about inpatient rehabilitation services and available care options.

Communicate admission expectations and participation requirements to appropriate patients.

Gather information related to patients' insurance coverage, financial resources, and benefits.

Serve as the primary point of contact for external case managers, discharge planners, payors, and referring facilities.

What we're looking for

We're seeking licensed clinicians who enjoy both patient care and building relationships.

Required clinical licensure:

RN, LVN, PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, RRT, MSW

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred qualifications

Previous healthcare marketing or sales experience

Previous clinical experience with strong patient assessment skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
