Job summary

sevencounties in Louisville, KY, seeks a Learning and Development professional to partner with HR and the L&OD Director to drive clinical training initiatives in a hybrid setting (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

The role will design and deliver instructor-led trainings, conduct train-the-trainer sessions, evaluate training effectiveness, and support a positive organizational culture across teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services field and licensure through the appropriate Kentucky licensing board.
• Three years of clinical experience required.
• Preferred experience: learning and/or training and facilitation, including design and delivery of instructor-led training.
• Experience evaluating training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and L&OD Director to implement, support, and facilitate learning and development initiatives with a focus on clinical trainings.
• Assist with the implementation and review of clinical learning programs and instructor evaluation reports.

This is a hybrid position working 4 days in the office and 1 day remotely

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Partners closely with HR and L&OD Director to implement, support, and facilitate learning and development initiatives, with a strong focus on clinical trainings.
• Assists with the implementation and review of clinical learning programs and instructor evaluation reports.
• Conducts train-the-trainer sessions and provides ongoing support for SCS colleagues who conduct training as an adjunct facilitator for the SCS Training Institute.
• Offers direction and support for learning and development programs and practices in partnership with HR, L&OD team, clinical, and business leaders.
• Assists with the instructional design of new and existing learning programs, with a strong focus on clinical trainings.
• Occasionally delivers standard behavioral health training for external community partners and other organizations as requested.
• Ensures that all L&OD tasks adhere to the values of SCS and the guiding principles.
• Directly supports a positive and inclusive organizational culture by utilizing best practices when executing L&OD tasks.
• Assists in other administrative and logistical tasks associated with learning and development programs.

EDUCATION

Master's degree in a social services field and licensure through the appropriate Kentucky licensing board, such as CSW, LCSW, LPCA, LPCC, MFTA, LMFT, LPATA, LPAT.

EXPERIENCE

• Three years of clinical experience required.
• Preferred Experience: Three years of experience in learning and/or training and facilitation to include one or more of the following:
  • Design and delivery of instructor-led training (live and/or virtual)
  • Leading staff and/or leadership development and professional skills training
  • Evaluating training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position requires lifting of 20 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds, and significant periods of standing.

Occasional minor discomforts from continual exposure to video display terminal.

Reliable transportation for frequent travel between work sites.
