CareFirst, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver both virtual and in-person training programs for a large employee base. The role emphasizes adult learning principles and the use of LMS for tracking and evaluation.
The position involves content development, collaboration with coordinators on scheduling, and ongoing improvement of training materials to meet evolving business needs.
Facilitates training programs to ensure that employees are equipped with the right skills, knowledge/abilities to perform their assigned tasks, strengthen current skills, and acquire new skills to meet current and future business demands. Both virtual Instructor-led and Instructor-led training programs are delivered to maximize reach and impact on the organization.
Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources.
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 2 years' experience delivering various training, teaching or adult learning modules to large audiences or operational groups.
Salary Range: $54,144 - $107,536

This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range, as compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances, including but not limited to experience, internal equity, and location.
