Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. in Annapolis, MD seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead unit staff, apply expert clinical judgment, and oversee education and staff development functions as well as designated management activities.

You will hire, evaluate performance, and participate in disciplinary actions in collaboration with Human Resources, coordinating patient care and mentoring staff while ensuring compliance with standards and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across the health system.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a registered nurse in a related specialty.
• Maryland RN license and BLS required; specialty certifications as applicable within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises unit staff and directs clinical operations.
• Coordinates patient care across the continuum for assigned areas.
• Acts as clinical resource and educator for staff; leads staff development activities.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards and performance improvement initiatives.
• Manages HR-related duties including hiring, evaluation, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
