Luminis Health in Annapolis, MD, seeks a Nurse Manager to direct operational functions for the Surgical Services area. You will ensure 24/7 coverage, lead performance-improvement initiatives, and align staffing with organizational goals.

You will manage budgets and payroll, develop staff development plans, and facilitate cross-department collaboration to deliver high-quality patient care. Requires RN licensure in Maryland, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and 5+ years clinical plus 3 years of management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Five years of relevant clinical experience plus three years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall operational functions for assigned areas.
• Sets priorities for data collection for performance improvement programs and justifies variances with corrective actions.
• Functions as an expert in patient care management in the clinical area.
• Facilitates teams to plan, communicate, implement, and evaluate optimal patient care delivery systems.
• Ensures effective communication across departments.
• Develops annual staff development goals and supervises performance to ensure staffing efficiency.
• Maintains 24/7 coverage of the unit.
• Manages the budget, payroll, and productivity of staffing.
