Job summary

fingerlakes seeks an experienced RN supervisor to oversee nursing units under the Director of Nursing - LTC, providing clinical supervision to staff and ensuring adherence to policies.

The role requires a NYS RN license, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), BLS plus CPI within 90 days, and at least one year of nursing (LTC supervisory experience preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure.
• BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
• CPI obtained within 90 days of hire.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Minimum LTC experience and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the nursing units and personally or through subordinates provide clinical supervision to employees assigned to the nursing units.
• Directly supervise nursing staff and coordinate with department managers and ancillary services to meet patient care needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and maintain professional and courteous interactions with staff and patients.
