General Summary of Position

MedStar Health is looking for a Clinical Lead to join our team at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital!

As a Clinical Lead specializing in Rehabilitation, you will provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services to patients. This includes screening and evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, reassessment and revision, patient reevaluation, discharge planning, and documentation. You will provide leadership and guidance to the Rehab Department staff and demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver appropriate clinical care to the patient population.

Primary Duties:

1. Oversee daily rehab operations, assist with staffing coordination, and ensure efficient patient scheduling.
2. Conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
3. Ensure accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries while maintaining compliance with standards.
4. Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff, assisting with appraisals and professional growth.
5. Uphold departmental policies, safety standards, and accreditation requirements while tracking key performance metrics.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in the specific discipline (required).
2. Master’s Degree from an accredited program in the specific discipline (preferred).
3. Doctoral Degree from an accredited program in the specific discipline (preferred).
4. 1-2 years of clinical experience (required).

Additional Information:

This position has a hiring range of $87,318 - $157,289.
