Job summary

West Georgia Eye Care Center PA is seeking a Clinical Lead to guide the clinical staff across ophthalmology services. You will provide administrative, managerial, and clinical oversight to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, mentoring clinicians, coordinating clinical activities, and leading quality improvement efforts. A COA certification and five years in supervision are required, with travel between clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid and active Driver’s License.
• Five years of experience in clinical operations supervision.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
• Proficiency in all aspects of ophthalmic care.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and train professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their clinical skills and development.
• Oversee and coordinate clinical activities to ensure adherence to protocols, standards, and guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care provided by clinical staff.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in care planning and decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff on new protocols, technologies, and best practices.
• Conduct regular educational sessions to enhance the skills of the clinical team.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to identify areas for improvement in patient care.
